India, home of one of the world’s oldest civilizations with its rich and diverse cultures has always had a fascination for travelers. Kerala, commonly known as 'God's own country', is undoubtedly one of its most beautiful and fascinating parts. The National Geographic Traveler selected Kerala as one of the world's 50 must-see destinations.
The geographical diversity of the land, with the Arabian Sea on the West and the mountains of the Western Ghats to the East, offer us a great variety of cycling. We will experience exotic beaches, lush green misty hill stations, sloping Tea Plantations, blue lagoons and tropical rainforests before finally exploring the fascinating beauty of the inland backwaters. These backwaters with their serene ambience are one of the unique attractions of Kerala.
Our tour includes the unforgettable experience of spending a night on a luxury houseboat or 'Kettuvalom'. We will also have time to cruise through the small lakes where we can relax in the tranquility of Kerala’s amazing scenery.
Another highlight is the food. Keralan cuisine is wonderfully distinctive with lots of natural herbs and spices, great for vegetarians and far less fiery than some northern dishes.
This tour will give you a great insight into this fantastic region and its culture. There is no better way of doing this than by bike!
