The Mekong Delta was beautiful and unforgettable. It was led by knowledgable guides who gave us unique personal insights into their respective countries. The transfer between both countries and different guiding teams was seamless and both teams gave us varied local culinary delights each day adding to our immersive Cambodian/Vietnam experience. The accommodation more than delivered in terms of comfortable rest time. This trip gave us a fascinating and memorable experience of two differing countries.

I enjoyed every aspect of this holiday, the cycling was very enjoyable...lots of little paths through jungle, river crossings, banana  and coconut groves, which provided some shade in the heat. I liked all the little stops to see local businesses and how the local people lived. We were welcomed everywhere. The guides were amongst the best I have experienced.

In Cambodia we were mainly led by Sum (Mr Sokhum?) as Phea was called away elsewhere. Sum was fantastic, he really enjoyed the cycling and was very interesting and knowledgeable about local history etc. It was clear that the Cambodian team were well used to working together and had fun (Karaoke on the tour bus, lots of joking etc etc). When the little plastic chairs and table came out (with table cloth) I knew it was going to be a good "Redspokes" style tour! Lots of Cambodian snacks (with stop offs to see how they are made), and fresh fruit. Hai was also a great guide and clearly very experienced. He went out of his way to ensure we had a good time, and resolved any issues quickly.

We have cycled in Colmbia, 3 European trips, Tour de France course, Spain, Africa, Ukraine, Greece Brazil. In short we have cycled in 51 countries some guided and some self guided. The trip in Cambodia was one of the best, the sense of humour and horseing around by the team was a delight. We loved the country, the people, and the food. The crew in Vietnam had an extremely hard act to follow, and they performed well. Really appreciate the work that had gone into planning the route.

This tour was an incredible experience from start to finish! Cycling through the stunning landscapes of Cambodia and Vietnam was both exhilarating and deeply immersive. Our guides, Phea in Cambodia and Hai in Vietnam, were absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and always going the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience. Phea’s passion for his country’s history brought every temple and village to life, while Hai’s enthusiasm and local insights made Vietnam’s countryside and vibrant cities even more special. If you're looking for an unforgettable cycling journey with top-notch guides, this is the tour for you!

The cycling itself was very enjoyable. Very flat, apart from the regular small bridges. Pace was relaxed. The absence of spectacular scenery after leaving the Angkor region, both in Cambodia and Vietnam was compensated for by the off-road cycling through small villages, paddy fields and plantations. The contrast between the two countries was very interesting, with insight into local life via regular stops to see local cottage industries and sampling roadside snacks. The local people, especially when you get out into the country were very friendly. A special call out to the guides, Phirun in Cambodia and Hai in Vietnam.
